This year, the Tuungane 2X’s Let’s Unite to See Her Empowered Program focuses on women empowerment and women-focused ventures in Kenya following the 2X Challenge Criteria, Melanin Kapital aims to contribute in closing the gender funding gap and the labour gap by equipping entrepreneurs with the necessary financial skills and access to funding opportunities that can enable them to be successful. Notably, the program enables women-focused ventures to improve the structure of their businesses, promote their solutions online and connect them to investors curated by Melanin Kapital. Absa bank will then offer the possibility for the best entrepreneurs to get a collateral-free business loan for an amount up to KES 3 million.
