Anne has 17 years of experience in research, academic and administrative management in the Kenyan public university sector. 

She currently serving her second term as a Commissioner (Board Member) in the Commission for University Education (CUE) and a member of the World Health Organization Advisory Committee to Develop Global Standards for Governance and Oversight of Human Genome Editing.

Anne has also served on two advisory committees of the African Union , the Animal Genetic Resources Advisory Group (AnGR-TAG) for Africa and the African Technology and Innovations Incubators Advisory Committee (ATIIAC)
